EMR Rounds commencing January 17, continuing sessions the third Tuesday of each month

Kootenay Boundary & Creston 'EMR ROUNDS'

KBC EMR Rounds is a monthly clinical online User Group that will be facilitated by Peer Mentors, with occasional guest presenters as appropriate.

WHEN: Third Tuesday of the month 7:45-8:45 am

  • Physicians are encouraged to have their EMR running for reference purposes, and to log in to the meeting using web conferencing (not just by phone)  in order to watch the demonstration or examples displayed in the meeting.
  • Dr. Ewing will facilitate these sessions which will focus each month on a particular case study or clinical workflow.  Participants are encouraged to share tips and tricks or ways in which they are using EMR in patient care and improving clinical value.
  • The meeting will NOT be recorded. But notes will be taken and posted in Intrahealth forum on the KBC Website.   www.kbc-cop.com

Please circulate this invitation amongst your colleagues.

Note: **The first meeting is limited to physicians. The topic of MOA attendance during EMR Rounds will be discussed during the first meeting. It may be more appropriate to share the relevant content during the MOA Collaboration Call on the Thursday immediately following EMR Rounds each month. This is a participant-centered User Group and these logistics will be decided amongst the group.
